Armstrong World Industries (AWI) has a job opportunity for a Supply Chain Process Improvement and Projects Manager to be located in Lancaster, PA. The Supply Chain Process Improvement and Projects Manager is responsible for leading the continuous improvement of all production, inventory, & distribution planning activities. Additionally, the Supply Chain Process Improvement and Projects Manager will be responsible for developing a high-performance distribution network through continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Process Improvement and Projects Manager:
Leading of various supply chain projects
Managing the implementation of distribution center best practices across the network
Leading the implementation of production planner best practices across the network
Managing the logistics dashboard of key measures
Using the project management process to deliver improved customer satisfaction at lower total supply chain cost
Developing and managing a measurement system to drive high performance in Armstrong / 3rd party logistics providers
Participating in the negotiation process to achieve 3PL contracts
Driving the process of learning across the production planning and distribution center function
Required Qualifications for the Supply Chain Process Improvement and Projects Manager:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field
10+ years of relevant Supply Chain, production planning and inventory management experience
Previous project management experience
Demonstrated leadership and process improvement skills and experience
