Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health New Jersey touches the lives of nearly 400 children, adolescents, adults, and their families with special needs, from outside the New York skyline to the Southern New Jersey shoreline. Individuals with emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities are served via a broad spectrum of treatment settings including; community-based homes and apartments, vocational training programs, family care homes, and consulting services. This BCBA position will provide services throughout Cumberland County and will serve the following client population; male and female consumers with developmental, emotional and intellectual disabilities and individuals on the Autism Spectrum. This role is responsible for demonstrating competency in developing and implementing behavior support programming, habilitation goals and objectives, and creating therapeutic environments.

The accomplished individual will possess:
Masters degree in Psychology, Special Education with a BCBA certification required OR
BCBA-D Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Doctoral.
Two years experience working with behavioral consumer with I/DD.
Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support Plans.
Training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to thrive and perform in an ever-changing, fast paced and demanding environment.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
