Under the direction of the practice's surgeons, the Physician Assistant (P.A.) will provide clinical services in the office, operating room, and hospital floor settings. The P.A. acts as a member of an interdisciplinary professional team providing assistance with history and physicals, treatments, rounds, orders, splinting/casting, and dressing changes as needed.Education & Training: Physician Assistant with appropriate licensure and credentialing to practice under the supervision of a physician in the state of Maryland. Clinical experience with the orthopedic diagnoses and conditions preferred.Work Orientation & Experience: A minimum of two years of direct patient care experience within the orthopedic specialty (may include time as athletic trainer, cast technician, medical assistant, etc. prior to P.A. certification).Skills & Abilities: Ability to (a) handle multiple priorities; (b) work independently, (c) take initiative in achieving expected results, and (d) handle confidential information.
