CIMS (Collborative Internal Medicine Serive)

Grade: 40

Job Duties: A 12 month training position that will include one on one orientation to inpatient medicine with a hospitalist physician preceptor. The PA I/NP I will be responsible for diagnosing health care problems of patients and developing and implementing treatment plans under the direction of a hospitalist physician preceptor.

Full Time (40 hours)

Combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts

Rotating shift

Weekend work required

Eduation: Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a Physician Assistant Program or a closely related field

Licensure/Certification: Licensure required as a Physician Assistant. Completion of a signed Physician Assistant job description as required and approved by the State of Maryland. Valid American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR card.

Experience: Six months of related experience. New grads are encouraged to apply.

Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed
